I had the privilege of attending the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA): The Coalition for Ukraine in #Rzesow, Poland on March 28th and had the opportunity to meet two remarkable fellow Naval Academy graduates who are making a significant impact in Ukraine. Michael Kuiper, USNA '07, Director of Ukraine Crisis Response for Vistant (formerly PM Consulting Group), and John Shmorhun, USNA '77, Chairman of MOVEUKRAINE, are inspiring individuals dedicated to the cause of building a coalition for Ukraine.
As a Naval Academy graduate myself, I am proud to be part of a community that is making a positive difference in the world. The core values of #honor, #courage, and #commitment that we learned at the academy are fundamental principles that we carry with us throughout our lives and apply to every aspect of our work. Witnessing how our fellow graduates use these values to make a difference is both humbling and inspiring.
I firmly believe that the collaboration and connection between Naval Academy graduates like Mike, John, and myself are crucial in building a strong coalition for Ukraine. Our collective knowledge, experience, and values can make a real difference in the lives of those in #Ukraine. I am excited to continue working towards this goal and to see the positive impact that we can create as a community.
